Works, Achievements, Successes Of Abubakar Yahaya Kusada Within The Last Six Months

Rt Hon Abubakar Yahaya Kusada is a leading politician and member Federal House of Representatives, representing Kankiya, Kusada, Ingawa and created an indelible mark in the tradition of Katsina state.
He has contributed a lot towards the development of his constituency and the enhancement of social welfare of his people.
Since he has been in the legislature, it is practically not possible to mention within the available space what he has achieved. Therefore, only a few of such will be mentioned here.
The Garkuwan Katsina, Abubakar Yahaya Kusada FNIQS has performed constituency projects in many sectors of the society that include, provision of potable water, solar electricity, education, agriculture and security to mention a few.
Potable Water:
He has provided potable water through the provision of bore holes in no fewer than 70 communities in his constituency.
Some of these communities include those with terrible problem of water supply that they have to trek to far places to secure drinking water.
However, with the construction of modern boreholes, communities like Kwana, Kafin Soli, Gidan Kusa, Fanfarauta and Dundu to mention but a few, are all beneficiaries of potable drinking water.
Solar electricity:
He has also provided electricity in no fewer than 20 communities in his constituency through solar power supply.
This has not only provided electricity for domestic uses but has also supported micro industries and gave job opportunities to the beneficiary communities.
Education:
In the education sector, he has been able to secure projects that will support good education in his constituency.
He founded a skill acquisition center that is named Abdu Idris Skills Acquisition Center Kusada. This is to educate the constituency various skills that will enhance the personal economies of the beneficiaries.
He built and equipt a computer center at the Government Day Secondary School Yandoma, Government Day Secondary School Dudunni, Government Day Secondary School Dangamau and Government Day Secondary School Kofar, to provide easy access to computer appreciation for students of the schools.
He also built two classrooms, office and a store at Dannayaki Community Secondary School, three classrooms at Rimaye Community Secondary School, three classrooms at Kafindangi Community Secondary School and three classrooms at Bauranya Community Secondary School.
Others include three classrooms at Manomawa Community Secondary School and six class rooms at Kusada Community Secondary School, among others.
He has also provided no fewer than 1500 school uniforms to primary school pupils at Kankiya, Kusada and Ingawa.
On addition to that, he also provided books to 1500 pupils in his constituency as well as teaching materials.
Skill Acquisition:
Rt Hon Abubakar Yahaya Kusada also supported youth and women of his constituency by developing their skills and providing them with start up kits.
He distributed several mini trucks as well as motor cycles to youth who have learnt driving skills for commercial usage.
Over 400 women have benefited from the N10,000 as start of capital for microscale
businesses.
Youths have also been taught skills of running barbing salons and provided with utensils for the business.
Women have been trained on cosmetics and jewelry production and provided with the necessary start up capital as well.
Many youth in his constituency are beneficiaries of the automobile mechanic training and provision of the world tools sponsored by Rt Hon Abubakar Yahaya Kusada.
Several women have benefitted from the distribution of grinding machines, sewing machines, groundnut oil production machine among others.
Many others are also beneficiaries of the his magnanimity when he gave out utensils for the production of boreholes, phone repairs, vulcanizing, car washing, and knitting machines.
Infrastructure:
The infrastructural development he took to his constituency cannot be left out of mention. There are feeder roads that have virtually become non motorable that he had brought back to life.
The main road linking Kafarda-Harbau-Maigamawa-Danzabuwa is worthy of mention as it has revived that area of his constituency.
He has also put in place solar streetlights in Kusada, Kafinsoli, Dudunni, Yallawai, Kurfeji and Santar Nakyallu.
Other beneficiaries of the streetlights placement include Yandoma and Dam at Kusada town.
Agriculture:
Under the agricultural sector he had contributed to the development of the dry season farming. He had supported about 565 farmers with water pumps in his constituency. He provided about 560 boreholes also in that constituency.
Health:
One of the methods he used in supporting the health sector is direct provision support to the patients. Their medical bills are taken care of, and are given access to free surgery performed for patients from his constituency at the Federal Medical Center Katsina.
He also provided free medical care using specialists he sponsors at Matallawa, in Kankiya local government area.
Higher Education:
In this very important sector, Rt Hon Abubakar Yahaya Kusada has provided scholarship for about 260 students of Federal College of Education (FCE), School for legal studies at Daura, Federal University of Ditsinma, as well as those studying in Kano at Bayero University (BUK) with scholarships.
Security:
He had done very well in contributing towards ending the insecurity bedeviling the state that include banditry, kidnapping and cow rustling.
He had contributed communication materials to security agents in his constituency and contributed motor cycles to them.
He also supported the vigilante groups, NSCDC, among others, with motor cycles.
This is just to mention but a few of his good works in his constituency which he is still on fulfilling his campaign promises to the people of his constituency.
